Student and faculty accommodations
Anglo American offers a wide range of both student and faculty accommodations, in either apartments or hotels. We are able to arrange accommodations, ranging from one night to a full semester.

Orientation sessions
All our London groups are offered an orientation session. This covers living in London, security and safety and housing arrangements. We provide various orientation materials for the session, including maps, leaflets and tourist information

Meet and greets
If you require someone to meet your group at the airport then we can arrange this for you.

Taxis
We can arrange for a taxi to pick you up from the airport and transport you directly to your housing.

Airport transfers
Many of our groups like to arrange a private coach transfer from the airport. We are able to arrange this, so that you are transported directly to your housing in comfort.

Coach rental
Other than your airport transfer you might want to arrange for a coach to transport your group when you are on a day trip, or even just for a ½ day tour of London. We are able to assist in arranging coach rental, both in the UK and Europe

Train tickets
If you are travelling by train, then we can assist with arranging tickets. In many countries we can assist with both second and first class travel, if required, along with rail-passes valid for travel in specific countries.

Transportation passes
In order to utilize public transportation in the city where you are staying, you may require a travel pass. We can obtain these in advance and have them waiting for you at your hotel or apartment upon arrival.

Tours
As a starting point, many groups like to book a ½ day guided tour of the city they are staying in. We can assist in arranging this, with guides and coaches where necessary. We can also supply hop on hop off bus tickets in many cities, as an alternative to a guided tour

Cultural excursions
We are able to arrange all aspects of cultural excursions, including coaching, entrance fees, meals and guides. We have excellent relationships with sites, such as Stonehenge and Dover Castle, and therefore are able to obtain special educational rates.  

Entrance fees
You can avoid the queues by purchasing your entrances in advance. We can readily assist in this process, ensuring that at busy times you can skip that long queue and go straight in..  

Theatre tickets
Anglo American is able to offer excellent rates to both individuals and groups for theatre productions. We have Educational Membership at many theatres, including the National Theatre, allowing us priority advance bookings and special discounted rates.

Accredited guides
From ½ day guided tours, to 3-week tours of the UK. Anglo American is able to arrange guides in cities throughout the UK and Europe. We only work with accredited guides.  Therefore, you can be assured that your guide will be of the highest quality. Increasingly popular are our specialist walking tours, ranging from Medicinal London to Angels and Demons in Rome

Group meals
Lots of our groups like to arrange meals during their stay. We have a bank of restaurants that we use on a regular basis, from Asian to Italian, and can arrange meals to suit any budget.  

Classroom rental
Anglo American operates its own Study Centre, located in the heart of Bloomsbury, where colleges are able to hold their classes.  We can accommodate both individual and block bookings. The London Study Centre comprises:

Faculty
Anglo American staff are able to assist with course offerings taught by qualified British instructors, subject to the approval of the partner university. We can arrange, amongst others, British Life and Culture, Shakespeare and Theatre, British History and Art History.  

Meeting space
If you are looking to arrange meeting space for your groups, we are able to offer rooms in our Academic Centre. We have a variety of rooms to seat between 10 and 35 people. All our rooms are equipped with Overhead projectors, whiteboards and screens.  Audiovisual and PowerPoint equipment can also be provided.  

Site visits
To complement your programme you may wish to include selected site visits. We have arranged site visits for many of our programmes, ranging from Marketing and PR companies, to Security and Terrorism units at Police Stations.  

Guest lecturers
Through our adjunct faculty, site visits, and internship programmes we have assembled a strong database of Guest Lecturers. For example, we have previously arranged for lectures by Theatre Critics, MPs, and Economists.

Cell phone rental
For peace of mind, many faculty require cell phone rental. We are able to arrange for cell phones for faculty to use during their stay.  

Insurance
The majority of university Study Abroad Offices have their own preferred suppliers for insurance. However, if you need assistance with this we are able to offer help.
